Our team
The Outreach22 dog team currently consists of 22 Alaskan huskies. After competing in a few mid-distance races, we are now qualified to compete in the Iditarod, a 1,049 mile race known for its challenging conditions and tough terrain. We plan to sign up for more mid-distance races this season: 100, 200, 300, 440 mile races to help prepare for the Iditarod. We'd love for Veterans to get involved and help handle at the checkpoints of each race. They’re exciting events to be a part of and it was a successful experience when we fundraised to brings Veterans to Alaska last winter.
